Zurich North America announced an enhanced line of electric vehicle (EV) protection products that provide coverage from repair or replacement of high-voltage rechargeable batteries to roadside assistance to recharge the batteries of EVs that run out mid-term . The product suite covers almost all manufacturers, including Tesla, Rivian, and Polestar.

Chubb has expanded its cyber risk service offerings to further assist all commercial clients in reducing exposures and mitigating potential losses in a changing cyber risk landscape.

Gore Mutual Insurance donated $ 150,000 to Canadian Red Cross to support disaster relief efforts in the province. The funds will go to the Canadian Red Cross Appeal on Flooding and Extreme Weather in British Columbia and enable the Red Cross to conduct relief, recovery, resilience and risk reduction activities in the affected regions.

Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies Now offers its commercial package policy to customers in Indiana and North Carolina.

Brightway Insurance opened 12 franchise stores in October and November. The stores that have opened in Maryland, Mississippi and Nevada are the brand’s first franchise units in those states. The company has also expanded its presence in California, Florida, Missouri and New York.

High Street Insurance Partners acquired 27 Nationwide exclusive insurance agencies in North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Maryland. All agency presidents will remain active with the company and will now report to Karl Sherrill, HSIP regional president.
