Fighting career

Moreno began his professional career in mixed martial arts in his native Mexico. In 2011, the flyweight fighter made his debut. In two years, he had six wins and three losses. Despite two losses and a straight tie, Moreno continued an unbeaten streak that still lasts. His first championship defense at UFC 256 ended in a draw, but he defeated Deiveson via submission in a rematch at UFC 263 to win the title.
